Two Full Retention Separators Installed at Chemifloc
Chemifloc Expand Handling Facilities
The County Clare based manufacturer of Polyelectrolytes, Chemifloc, has increased its handling facilities at Smithstown Industrial Estate, Shannon to over 16,000m2.
With a large volume of chemical processing on site, the company has also installed two Premier Tech Aqua Conder Full Retention Separators:
- CNS 100s/21
- CNS 200s/21
Designed to treat the full flow that can be delivered by a drainage system, which is normally equivalent to the flow generated by a rainfall intensity of 65mm/hr, the Full Retention Separators have an automatic closure device (ACD) fitted as standard, which prevents accumulated pollutants flowing through the unit when maximum storage level is reached.
The Premier Tech Aqua Conder Full Retention Separators were the ideal solution as an essential requirement for the company, was that the products were in compliance with their discharge license.
The full installation including all groundworks was completed in just 10 days.
